My story begins almost 16 years ago. I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and had been suffering with it for 10 years. I have a port in my chest where a surgeon inserted it to enable injections to be inserted there. This disease is an autoimmune disease and as with these diseases, it began affecting my whole body. It was as if my body was attacking itself. I had lost my home and my job and was in really bad shape.
My sister invited me to come to her church in Tomball. I was living in La Porte, TX which is about an hour and a half away. I had promised her I would come to her church the next Sunday morning and get prayed for there. I was really sick and didn’t want to get out of bed. I wasn’t keen on keeping my promise to my sister.
The pastor of my sister’s church, Bro. Travis Hoffman, had heard from God. My sister had asked for prayer for me and said I was in bad shape. My doctor was about to put me in a wheelchair because walking had become very difficult. I had already been given permanent handicap tags.
Bro. Hoffman asked my sister the Saturday before if she had heard from me regarding coming to church on Sunday. She replied that she had called and left messages and even texted me, but had not heard back. The pastor was persistent since the Lord had told him to get me there and he’d heal me. He then asked if my mother was close by. My sister told him that she was 2 miles away.
Long story short, my mother came over and told me that I had better go to Tomball the next day or my brother-in-law would came and get me and I’d be stuck in Tomball without my truck. I reluctantly agreed. I am ashamed to say that my attitude was not great. I had been raised in Pentecost and had seen many miracles and healings, so I believed that it could be done. I had gotten away from the Lord and had backslidden.
When I arrived at the small church I was met by Sis. Hoffman, the pastor’s wife. We connected immediately and I felt like I was finally home. I have never felt such an overwhelming love as I felt when I first arrived.
After church, Bro. Hoffman asked for anyone that needed anything from God to step up to the front of the church. I went up front and asked that the Lord heal me of my RA. He anointed me out of the horn of oil and laid hands on me and prayed that I would receive my healing. Jesus healed me right then and there. I felt the power of the Holy Ghost and knew I was healed. I began to shout and praise God, and dance around like I was a young woman again. I had walked up there a very sick woman walking very slowly but left completely healed!! Praise God!! I still have the port, but it has been dormant for nearly 16 years!
The Lord had prepared a place for me in this Church, knowing what I would be facing that same week. I lost my husband who died of cirrhosis of the liver caused by fatty liver disease. The Lord knew I’d need a Church and pastor who would be there for me during this painful time and they were there for me.
For 5 years I drove from La Porte to Tomball for every service. On Sundays we had morning and evening services. I’d stay with my sister and brother-in-law and attend the evening service and go home to La Porte that night.
The Lord kept me safe and I returned to work working temporary jobs since the economy was pretty bad at that time. When I received a good permanent job, I began to search for an apartment in Tomball. I had 2 cats and 2 dogs at the time, even with 4 animals, the Lord made a way and I was able to find an apartment.
The church later moved to Plantersville and I was able to move 6 miles from the church. The Lord restored everything. I cannot describe to you the peace that I feel. It is the peace that passeth all understanding. Phil. 4:7
My church family is still growing. If you get a chance, come and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
The Lord has healed me so many times and has brought me through so much. I fell and broke my hip and was in the hospital for nearly 6 weeks. I came home walking using a rollator very slowly and carefully. I was not even able to drive. One morning, I went up for prayer and Bro. Hoffman asked me what I needed from God, I told him I wanted to walk normally without the rollator.
Once again, the power of the Lord using the hands of the man of God, Pastor Hoffman, healed me again! I shoved the rollator away and began to praise God and began shouting and dancing. The whole church rejoiced with me!
The next year, I fell and broke that same hip. God is so merciful, he healed me again! Praise God!! Those that had not witnessed the first or second miracle, got to see it for themselves. I am so grateful to be part of a church where the power of God moves so powerfully.
If you are in need of something and are searching for much more than what you are receiving in your church or if you aren’t going to a church, I invite you to come to a place where you will feel the power of God and get what you need.
We only use the King James Version Bible. Here you will hear and understand the unadulterated Word of God because this pastor will explain it clearly and the Lord will open up your understanding to His Word. If you are truly hungry and seeking the will of God, come and see for yourself.
The Bible says, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6 KJV.
