It was about 12 to 13 years ago, my husband and I had been looking for a church after moving
to Tomball. None of the churches seemed to be what we were looking for. My husband had
pretty much given up, but one day, on my way home from work, I saw flames on a church sign,
and to me, that always indicated that the Holy Ghost was there. I told my husband about it, and
so we came on the next Sunday.
We were met with smiling faces; everyone was so welcoming, and the message that Pastor
Hoffman preached was all scripture. I’ve never heard anyone preach like that before. He came
with the Word, and he didn’t just tell us what it said, he showed us and he had us physically
open our Bibles and show us where the scriptures were, what it said, and anytime we didn’t
understand what something meant, he took the time to explain it to us. We would stay late after
services, where he would answer all of our questions. We quit smoking, quit the pills, and I quit
bar hopping and drinking. Over the years, there have been so many changes that have been
made in our lives for our good. We have seen so many miracles in this church.
It’s truly like a treasure, hidden in a field. We didn’t think that there was a church like this, but I’m
glad the Lord brought us to this place. It has truly changed our lives and healed our marriage.
